Authors Shelley Frost and Katerina Lorenzatos Makris were guests on Mornings on 2, KTVU-FOX in the San Francisco/Oakland Bay Area, Wednesday morning, October 24th. It was filmed at the Peninsula Humane Society. Two very sweet, older dogs were featured in the interview. They are Ginger, a 15 year old shephard mix, and Fred, a 14 year old lab mix. Both dogs grew up together and are completely bonded to one another. Their owners dropped them off at the Peninsula Humane Society because they were "moving" and didn't have "time" for the dogs. The Peninsula Humane Society would like to place Fred & Ginger together in a final, forever home, hopefully before Christmas. Fred & Ginger have been at the humane society for three months.
